No Excuse

There is no excuse for the behavior of protestors/rioters in Minneapolis Wednesday night.  We saw pictures of people storming through businesses and causing damage and we saw them harassing people dining. This is a common tactic of ANTIFA and Marxists. The BLM Co-Founder Patrisse Khan-Cullors Admits, “We Are Trained Marxists” (https://youtu.be/Hh0uBtPFqIs).

It began with a report someone was killed in a parking ramp and then the suspect committed suicide on the sidewalk. The recorded video of the suicide was released to the public, so people should have known this wasn’t a police shooting (https://youtu.be/xsccF2PWHew). However, they still gathered downtown and started their destruction. This is an annihilistic anarchist tactic and exactly what ANTIFA and similar organizations are known for.

Two weeks ago, John Thompson and BLM members went to Hugo to protest against Bob Kroll, MPD union president. Instead of a peaceful protest, John started to yell threatening, violent, and hateful words towards all Hugo residents. Even though his words were threatening, his supporters, including Democratic leaders in Minnesota, did not publicly denounce John Thompson.

If our leaders don’t come out and say this is wrong, John Thompson’s violent behavior and rhetoric will become acceptable without repercussions.

We need to have leaders to stand up for what is right and not make excuses for this destructive terrorism on the streets of our wonderful cities.  I know if you give me the opportunity by electing me on November 3rd I can be that leader for East Siders.

I’m not a politician. I’m not a charismatic public speaker. I’m a man who worked hard my entire life in a hard labor job. I’m a quiet man who has grown tired of what I see going on in my neighborhood and the city of Saint Paul. I’m a man who says enough is enough and I can’t sit by any longer and do nothing.

I like to think I have a heart that is open to listen and hear from both sides of an issue. As a Christian, we try to see the good in others. I want to take my passion to help “ALL LIVES” to the State Capital and represent ALL residents of District 67A.
